Good corn beef hash with poached eggs. Service was attentive and the place is quaint yet cleaned. Will comeback

We love The Cup especially the new location near the Atlantis in the same parking lot as Reno Town Mall. The service and food are really good. My only complaint is the restaurant is a little cold in temperature, probably because part of the restaurant is open to the inside of the mall.

Pro's: Good, down home ambience, friendly service and excellent food. Con's: None Go back?: Yes, absolutely. More... I have passed The Cup Cafe more times than I can count and always wanted to try it. I went the day after Christmas as I was solo and starving. I had a delicious waffle and scrambled cheesy eggs with salsa...heaven! Price is right, too. I will happily return to The Cup Cafe.

I had brunch at the Cup Cafe today and I was very impressed with the menu, the staff, the environment and the food. I wanted everything on the menu but I opted to the Pumpkin Pancakes and an over-medium egg. The coffee was also very good and the servers were of "old time"where they actually walked around and refilled your cup. I will be back!!!

Cute little, family owned, cafe. Clean, neat place. Food was fast and excellent with great service and friendly staff! Prices were reasonable!

This was my first time in. I've heard nothing but good things about it. I was able to be seated immediately and it wasn't too busy either. I ordered the biscuits and gravy platter and a half order of French toast. Overall my food was pretty good! The portion sizes were pretty generous as well. Food cons: The sausage gravy personally didn't have a lot of flavor to me. I had to add a lot of salt and pepper. Service cons: I didn't get much of a greeting or welcome from my waitress at all. Just a "are you ready to order?"

The cup cafe, two amazing locations in Reno. This family owned restaurant is one of our regular go to spots. The service is literally top notch, we usually sit at the counter and the service is almost immediate. We love the chile relleno plate both as a lunch or breakfast version. The coffee is hot ,delicious, dark and often refilled. Their lunch menu has some home runs as well. The burgers are giant and delicious. The place is always warm , welcoming and clean. With a clear view to the cooks ,this place stays on top of their game.

This is my second time coming to Cup Cafe and it has been a good experience both times. They are busy even on weekdays, so expect a wait of 15 minutes minimum. Parking has not been a problem even though the parking lot is not very big. From the outside, the building looks very small, but it is a lot larger when you are inside. Once walking in, there's a person to put you on the waitlist and a small area of benches while you wait for a table. The decorations inside are very cute and has a lot of religious signs throughout. They also have the Cup Cafe branded t-shirts! If you are seated to the right (based on when you first walk in), the open kitchen is on that side along with bar seating and booths. The left side has tables and booths without view of the kitchen. The server that I had this time was excellent! She was patient while dealing with many tables and some difficult customers all while checking in on us. She brought the food to the table next to us, but then realized it was the wrong table and got it to us. We ordered the following: - Egg's Benedict: I love the sauce they use on their Benedict's here! It's very creamy and one of the best out of the breakfast places in town! This is a must try! - Biscuits and Gravy: it was their signature dish, but it tasted average. There was nothing special about it here that would make you want to order it again. Definitely will come back here for the Benedict!

Brunched today at the Cup cafe for the first time in years. My last visit was with my last pregnancy with my youngest. I would get here early on the weekends to get one of their cinnamon rolls they only make on the weekends and on special. I don't know how I haven't reviewed them before. I'm not going to lie, I came for that special, but knew if they were out; I would happily find something else. We came out later trying to miss the rush of after balloon race crowd. Today, they had a pumpkin pancake special that I had to have in lieu of their cinnamon roll special. My sweet tooth was satisfied! Service was good and not too long of a wait. There's always a wait here, but it's so worth it. We showed up hungry and left with full happy bellies. We'll be back and hope to have a cinnamon roll on my next weekend visit.

The Cup is a charming, family-operated restaurant that stands out as a local favorite for its traditional American breakfast options, healthy choices, and welcoming atmosphere. Located in a sunny, cozy space, The Cup offers a delightful dining experience with its open kitchen concept, allowing guests to watch their meals being prepared if you chose to sit at the open seat area ( aka bar area ) . Despite its popularity, particularly Labor Day, when many restaurants are closed, we were fortunate to snag a table without a wait. They are open , partly due to its reputation among Burning Man crowds, who flock here for their pre- and post-festival meals, making it a long-standing tradition for many. The service at The Cup is top-notch, characterized by attentiveness and genuine friendliness. The food is consistently delicious, blending comfort with health-conscious options that cater to all tastes. From classic breakfast dishes to daily specials, there's something to satisfy every palate. The kids' menu is also thoughtfully crafted, making it a great spot for families. Overall, The Cup is highly recommended. While you might need to be patient for a table, the experience is more than worth it. Whether you're a local or just passing through, this gem of a restaurant offers a warm, inviting atmosphere and exceptional food that makes every visit special.
